Ryōō High School (Ryōō Gakuen Ōtōsai or Ryou-ou High School in the manga) is the high school where almost all of the Lucky Star cast attend classes or work at.
About Ryōō[]
Ryōō High School is the Lucky Star counterpart to the real-life Kyouei Koukou High School. It is a three-year school, like most Japanese high schools, but is a private school enlisting only those who can pass the entrance exam. It is located roughly 12 miles northeast of and outside of Tokyo Proper. It boasts a full track field behind the school and a swimming pool in front, offset east of the main entrance.
In Lucky Star, it lies host to many of the events and 'skits' played out in the series; including sports and culture festivals occasionally.
Uniforms[]
Girls wear a sailor fuku: a white shirt with a cape, skirt, and yellow necktie. The winter uniform is a long sleeved shirt and has a pink cape, skirt, and cuffs. The summer uniform is a short sleeve shirt with a blue cape, skirt, and cuffs.
Boys wear a gakuran: a black suit.
