Hiyori Tamura (田村ひより, Tamura Hiyori) is a schoolmate that appears along with the main cast of Lucky Star.

About HiyoriEdit

Hiyori Tamura is an amateur dōjin artist, who is also the first-year classmate of Yutaka Kobayakawa and Minami Iwasaki. Additionally, she is an otaku who creates her own dōjinshi; her genres are broad, stretching from yaoi to yuri. Hiyori is always searching for a good plot to use in her dōjinshi, and tends to imagine Yutaka and Minami in romantic moments, only to grow embarrassed over the idea and break into an emotional outburst, which leaves Yutaka and Minami clueless. Even if she has a moment of enlightenment, she fails to jot down notes about it, which causes her to forget what her great idea was about. Her nickname is "Hiyorin" which was given by Konata and Kō. Hiyori tends to be a kind person, but has really unfortunate luck. Hiyori has a friendly personality, but is prone to becoming bashful, leading to simple mistakes during a decisive moment. Hiyori has long hair, a wide forehead, and is a meganekko. She is a member of the Animation Research Club, and is Kō's junior. She also seems to be unlucky with animals since the normally timid dog of Minami, Cherry, is apparently hostile to her. Her family consists of a mother, father, two older brothers and a pet dog.

She has a small "mini-series", "Hiyori Tamura's Human Files" that runs through half of manga volume 4. The pages, each detailing a different Lucky Star character, give many technical descriptions such as birthdays, blood types, and "Bust-Sizes".

She is also a self proclaimed pervert (due to her drawing her friends in such romantic scenes) which as stated above leads to many of her emotional outbursts.
